An Android app to track Codeship CI deployments

Client: Myself

Project Type

Mobile App

Codeship is a Continuous Integration service, A simple push to your repository runs your automated tests and configured deployments. ^1

For the past few months, Codeship has been used to build and optimise this site. When I push out a new commit, Codeship is triggered and runs my Gulp tasks which include:

  • Building the Jekyll site
  • Optimising my images
  • Compiling CSS and Javascript
  • Performing tests using JSHint, PHPUnit, CasperJS, Qunit (and more)

In additional to a range of other tasks for SEO and statistics etc.

I wanted a way to track the builds while on the go, especially as I can make changes to the site from my phone. However, the website is not optimised for phones, and an app didn't exist, until now!

Please note: This app is not official, and is not maintained or supported by Codeship.

  • View multiple projects
  • View history of builds
  • Restart the last build of a project

More features coming soon, including the ability to view build steps and failure messages.
