I run my freelancing and contracting work through Spacestar Digital, and FreeAgent handles all my invoicing, time tracking, and bookkeeping. It’s solid software, but like most web apps, it lives in a browser tab, which means every time I need to quickly check if a client has paid or log some hours, I’m cmd-tabbing away from whatever I’m working on.
I’m also a Raycast user. If you’re not familiar, Raycast is a keyboard launcher for Mac that does what Spotlight wishes it could. Extensions let you do almost anything without touching your mouse.
So I built one that connects the two.
The extension lets you manage invoices, log timeslips, view bank transactions, and keep an eye on tax deadlines, all without leaving your keyboard. Check out the full project page for the details.
